About Men’s Minds Matter

We are suicide prevention experts by experience. Led by clinical expertise and lived experience, we are working to change how society understands, prevents, and responds to suicide in men.

A unique approach born from two perspectives

Our work is led by Dr Luke Sullivan, Clinical Psychologist, and Nigel Sanderson, a survivor of a suicide attempt. Having stood on opposite sides of suicidal crisis – as clinician and patient – they saw first-hand that current approaches weren’t working.

They joined forces to change that, developing a clinical model that tackles not just the symptoms of suicide, but the causes. Their mission is simple: to fix the system and save lives.

Suicidal and need help now?

Want to help someone else?

Our mission and what we do

At Men’s Minds Matter, our mission is rooted in facing life’s challenges head-on. We:

  • Create life-saving psychological interventions
  • Provide suicide prevention training for healthcare professionals, businesses, and community groups
  • Campaign to raise awareness of male suicide

Together, we are building a world where fewer men die by suicide, and more men find hope.
