Why so many men die by suicide
Research shows:
- 47% of men think there’s stigma around going to therapy
- 34% believe therapy is indulgent unless it’s for something serious
Society enforces rigid ideas of masculinity. Many men feel they must never show weakness, so struggles go unspoken. Issues build until they become overwhelming, and for some, tragically, it’s too late.
What we’re doing about it
We aim to equip everyone with the skills to navigate life’s challenges and support those who are suicidal. Our mission includes:
- Normalising men talking about their feelings
- Teaching people how to listen effectively
- Using our unique clinical model, applied in the NHS and beyond, to help over 1,000 people
This work is not just for men—our model supports anyone in crisis, helping them get the right help, at the right time.
